Christina - Congrats on The Prosperous Writer and the new direction you're taking. Your philosophy of working sanely, steadily, and with self-respect resonates deeply. For 2010, I've chosen the word 'focus.' I've decided that while multi-tasking is sometimes essential, it doesn't always help me produce the caliber of work I'd like to put my name on. So, here's to ditching my short attention span and dedicating time to do what I love. Wishing you much success.

Great word choice. I chose "savor" - I want to do a better job of living in the moment and savoring moments rather than being 16 steps ahead of myself all the time.

Good luck, Mary Jo. I basically spent a year considering all of those things you just mentioned. Hopefully, you can cut to the chase a lot faster. Just go for it! And happy 2010!

Like all the changes you've implemented, Christina! My one word for 2010 is REFRESH. My goal is to remind folks to refresh themselves every day with healthy spiritual, mental, and emotional practices that will keep them motivated and happy every day.
Love your new Prosperous Writer Newsletter; it's fresh and vibrant. I'll look forward to the weekly updates and blog posts.
A wonderful, productive New Year in 2010!

Christina: I'm SO excited bout your new vision for 2010. My one word for 2010 is CLARITY. My goal is to take stock in what makes me come alive and narrow my focus and my energy so that I'm channeling in the right direction - not spewing energy and time in a spoke-like fashion. Funny how creative minds think alike. I feel your message is in line with Clarity, too! And Chris Brogan's latest newsletter is also about narrowing focus. Here's to rocking this new year!
