I offer three levels of five-month Dream Teams, in which I teach writers and platform-builders that the opportunities are out there for those who identify them, prepare well for them, and go after them. And that’s exactly what we do in my Dream Teams for five months straight.

Dream Teams are the cure for the isolation and anxiety that writers often experience when they try to go it alone. What I’ve learned from offering four sessions of Dream Teams so far is that a lot of questions come up along the writing road as a writer goes from unpublished to published. If those questions can be answered in a supportive environment, the writer can experience a lot less anxiety on the road to success.

My Dream Teams are a context that creates “pod-pressure” — just the right amount of support, encouragement, and accountability to help you get from wherever you are now to where you’d like to be. Participants enjoy sharing resources and cheering each other on, while still staying on course with individual goals.

I offer three levels of Dream Teams groups each year beginning in January or August. The next session begins August 1, 2012. Register for the best Dream Team for your needs below. Space is limited and groups typically fill long before the start date.

I only work with former students in Dream Teams. So if you are a mom writer and you would like to start writing for publication, please take Writing & Publishing the Short Stuff first or Discover Your Specialty & Launch Your Platform and then sign up for a Dream Team afterward to put what you’ve learned into practice (see the Classes page).

If you have been a former student, Dream Teams are a great way for us to continue working together. Dream Teams offer the opportunity for lasting writing friendships for those who share the experience. I hope to work with you in one of my five-month Dream Teams!

Writing & Publishing the Short Stuff Article-writing Dream Team With Christina Katz

Prerequisites: WPSS

The WPSS Article Accountability Dream Team is a monthly 90-minute accountability group that guides members towards getting more articles in print in less time than it might take going it alone. Members check in each month, ask questions, and set monthly goals. I facilitate the group by phone, pointing out the shortcuts, pitfalls, and career-building opportunities available to article writers as we go along. Anyone who wants to get published, build a portfolio of clips, and profit from their writing will get a ton out of the Dream Team experience.

Cost: $175.00

Advanced Article-writing /Beginning Platform-building Dream Team With Christina Katz

Prerequisites: WPSS or PP and DYS-LYP

The Article Accountability Dream Team is a monthly 90-minute accountability group that guides you towards pitching more articles than you might otherwise pitch on your own. Members will check in each month, ask questions, and set monthly goals. I facilitate this group by phone pointing out the shortcuts, pitfalls, and career-building opportunities available to querying writers, who wish to increase success rate and profitability, while also making the most of past published article ideas.

Cost: $175.00
