I invest in mom writers. I have been awarding thousands of dollars worth of full scholarships to mom writers for my Writing & Publishing The Short Stuff class since fall 2006.

Last year, I also started offering scholarships to my Discover Your Specialty & Launch Your Platform class.

Several times a year I select scholarship students and absorb that loss of income. Why would I do such a crazy thing over and over and over?

I realize that not everyone is made of money. I am not a Rockefeller myself. I work hard for every dime I earn. Yet many moons ago, when I was low on cash, I was kindly helped. I like to pass this feeling of good fortune along.

The week-long application periods for scholarships to Writing & Publishing the Short Stuff and Discover Your Specialty & Launch Your Platform come around five times a year.

So, if you are low on cash, but would still like to take a class with me, keep an eye on my blog and newsletter so you won’t miss the application periods. Application periods are roughly one week long and one month prior to the start date of class.
