Creativity is probably more powerful than we can possibly know.
And I’m not talking about surface-level creativity, which would include anything we do mindlessly or by rote.
I’m talking about Eureka Moments.
You know what I’m talking about, right? The kind of moments where an answer to a question you have been asking yourself for a very long time finally comes in for a sudden and abrupt landing?
Naturally, these Eureka Moments usually happen when you are busy doing something else like sorting the laundry, doing the dishes or paying bills. You are going along, duh-duh-duh, just like always, and then you stop and think:
Oh my God, that’s IT!
And usually it is it. Because that’s how Eureka Moments work. It’s like all the answers to all the questions you have been asking for months rolled into one nice, neat little package. Ta-da!
And then comes the important part, which is carrying on like your life didn’t just change forever, even thought it most certainly did.
In which case, I’d better get back to the laundry.
How about you. Had any Eureka Moments lately?

What blows my mind is how easy it is to either a) let the moment slip away or b) grab ahold and let it steer your life in a new direction.
Christina what do you do with your Eureka moments, do tell?!
I put them to use in as grounded a way as possible. Just listened to one that had been nagging me for over a month. It felt good. 🙂
