The Last Will of Moira Leahy Discussion, Day Two

I’m interesting interested in hearing other readers first impressions of The Last Will of Moira Leahy by Therese Walsh.

We will be discussing it here, at a leisurely pace, all month.

Today, I wanted to share something from Therese Walsh’s website. (Note: you can turn the site music on or off, according to your preference.)

Maeve Leahy’s Photo Journal

Such a clever idea to post your main characters photographs.

I thought these words and images really captured the characters essence without giving away too much of the book.

See what you think!

[Thanks to Meryl K. Evans for the close read.)

I waited until I finished the book before checking out the books “extras” on the web site. Therese did a great job in extending the book especially with the photo journal and the other story openings.

Hey, I lost my apostrophe. That should be “book’s.” I blame my cold.

Anyway, even if you check out the extras before finishing — I can assure you that Therese doesn’t give anything away. But like Christina says in the next book post, they’ll have more meaning and feed your craving for more “Moira Leahy” content. After finishing the book, it lingered in my mind. The web site provided the perfect dessert.

I hadn’t seen the photo journal to go along with the book, but that was fantastic! Therese puts so much of herself into everything she does, it’s incredible. The Last Will of Moira Leahy has become my favorite. It has every emotion & details of images so clear that it completely brought me into the story. I read it in two days, with little sleep. I just couldn’t put it down, I wanted to see what was going to happen. I feel like most woman would be able to connect and relate pieces of their own lives to Maeve & Moira. Especially if you have a sister, but just as a woman trying to learn and grow. I have only read one book ever, more than once. I know and can’t wait to read Last Will again. Thank you for writing it Teri šŸ™‚
