I have received a couple of requests lately from writers eager to take my Pitching Practice class.
Apparently they have not heard that it is my most challenging class. 😉
I kept saying I would offer it in the fall. But then I thought about it and I realized that it makes more sense to offer it in March along with another round of Discover Your Specialty & Launch Your Platform in May.
So, there you go! You asked for it and you got it.
But please remember, those of you who have your eye on the Pitching Practice class, the class has a prerequisite. You need to have taken Writing & Publishing the Short Stuff or provide evidence that you have been writing regularly for publication. I prefer that folks who take the pitching class be publishing their work widely rather than just for one or two local publications.
If you need to get in a WPSS class before Pitching Practice, hurry and sign up because that class begins tomorrow and today is the last day to register.
Besides, it’s a great class. I can’t imagine why you would not want to take it.
And now, about my class prices (and this goes along with my “fearless” word for 2011). The prices will be going up, likely in the fall of this year. So, if you have been wanting to take WPSS for a while but you are holding out until your financial stars line up just right, you’ll probably want to know about the planned increase, which still gives you three chances to take it at the current price.
Here’s a quick overview of the updated class lineup:
