Free Stuff I’m Pleased To Offer

November 10, 2009

Feel free (pun intended) to take a look around and see what I offer you for nuthin’ (or almost nuthin’).

  • Do you need guest posts on popular topics for your blog in 2010? Look no further!
  • The links, below, will download the Microsoft Word files to your computer when you click on them.
  • My bio is included. Please link the post back to ChristinaKatz.com once you post it. Grab my images from this blog on the “Read” and “Bio” pages, if you like.
  1. Get Known Before the Book Deal Interview (any blogger may re-post this content in full with link attribution): GK Interview Post To Share 2010
  2. Platform Resolutions for Writers 2010 guest post (any blogger may re-post this content in full with link attribution): Platform Resolutions for Writers 2010
  3. My agent, Rita Rosenkranz of Rita Rosenkranz Literary Agency, is letting you share her e-book, “The Author’s Toolkit,” with your readers: Author’s Toolkit 2009 [Unlike the others, please do not grab the text from Rita's e-book and post it in your blog. Rather, download it and then e-mail it to your friend or clients. Thanks!]

The Prosperous Writer E-zine

  • Weekly e-zine offering tips, encouragement and a gentle kick in the caboose for writers who want to prosper.
  • I’ve been informing and inspiring writers via e-zines since 2003.
  • Don’t miss a single issue! Sign up on the home page in the Constant Contact subscription box.

scholarshipckThe Writer Mama Quarterly Scholarship

  • Though technically not a “freebie” I have been giving a full scholarship to a writer mama every time I offer my class, Writing & Publishing the Short Stuff, for the past several years.
  • Learn more about the how to apply for this need and accomplishment-based scholarship by signing up for The Prosperous Writer.

The Northwest Author Series

  • This inexpensive educational speaker series is technically not free (it costs writers $3-5 to get in), but it’s so darn cheap, it may as well be free!
  • I round up eight authors a year who write in a variety of genres to come and share what they have learned in this educational series sponsored by The Wilsonville Public Library, The Friends of the Wilsonville Library, and the Wilsonville Arts and Culture Council.
  • The Northwest Author Series is my way of giving back to the local community. I founded the series in 2007, and it runs September – May in the Oak Room at the Wilsonville Public Library from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Visit the NAS blog for more info. You can sign up for announcement there, as well.

Giving makes good things happen. Try it for yourself and see!
